Best Buys-Easter

An easy second best to Christmas but magical nonetheless! Easter is a special time for little ones to make memories of love and laughter. While we love doing the traditional chocolate egg hunt for out little people, we do also give them each a special easter package each year. This package includes, books, pyjamas and easter themed activitieto complete in the lead up to Easter Sunday. Like our Christmas books, our easter collection gets put away each year and brought out only for the month of Easter. Instead of buying one new book each year i bought 10 of my favourites and my children get to enjoy them all each and every year!

Book of Bunny Farts

Have you ever wondered how the Easter Bunny manages to deliver all of those eggs? Well, he eats. A lot. Eating that much gives him energy, but it also means he farts a lot, too. In this hilarious book, the Easter Bunny explains all the different kinds of Easter farts bunnies release.

We have a bunch of these Hey Doodle mats! We use them constantly, especially when travelling or eating out. They are incredible well designed and fold up super small which is great for the nappy bag or hand bag. Basically it is a silicone colouring in page that wipes clean with a baby wipe, so you can use it time and time again! The number one has eggs to search for, count and find making it a perfect Easter gift!

Bath bombs

Another fun chocolate-free easter hunt idea! These ones won’t dry out your little person’s skin.

Icy Pole moulds

These are the bomb! they lay flat and have a lid so they wont take up too much precious space in your freezer!

Bunny Snackie

This is a genius design and i must have it asap! Basically it is a silicone bowl and plate set, that fit into one another to form a little lunchbox! So clever and so practical!

Freeze & Bake pods

Involve your little one in the kitchen and make some bunny shaped treats this easter! This tray can be used for baking or freezing and comes with a handy lid! I can’t wait to make some bunny shaped muffins!

Mini bake and freeze

This is the same as above, but mini! If you have a little one getting ready to start solids this is the freezer puree tray i most recommend. It cames with a lid, stacks nicely in the freezer, but most importanty it can be used as a mini muffin baking mould as your child grows!!!

Maisie loves scratch art! You simply use the stick to scratch away the black to reveal bright colours. Make any design you like, they always look great.! So much fun!

Fillable eggs

36 fillable eggs for 15 bucks! We got a set of these 3 years ago and we’ll probably use them until the kids are grown! We will them with dried fruit ect and the kids love to hunt for them! We actually play with these year round as Maisie loves to put things inside, use them for floating sinking games and colour matching activities. We even use them as paint stamps to make circles.

Slime

Hunt for slime instead of overloading on chocolate! The kids will have so much fun opening these up to reveal the slime. once all opened and played with we just combine all the slime into one and keep it in a ziplock bag for next time we want some slimey sensory play!

A practical hunting egg that can be used year round! Perfect for little hands as they start to colour and draw. Washable and non toxic!

Learn to count

A hands on counting activity. Count the dinosaurs and put the correct number into each egg. I actually really love this toy! I need to hold back this year as Denny is clearly too young to learn to count . Maybe for his second Easter!

Cars

Car lover in the family? These little car-filled eggs are super cute. I love that the cars are translucent and would be super fun to use on the light table, especially in the dark. They are also pull-back so racing them will definitely be on the cards Easter day!

Little one learning numbers?

I love any kind of matching egg set because you can use them for role play cooking/shopping as well. This set comes with numbers to match but also simple arithmetic signs such as the addition symbol you you could easily use these to teach your little one to solve basic number sentences!
