Best Buys- Kids Hair

I’ve been really getting into creating fun hairstyles for Maisie each morning and have been sharing a few for your over on the gram. Ever since my DMs have been full of questions about what products we use so i thought id list some of our faves here! As always, click the pics to take you to where to buy.

Elastics kit

You may have seen be sorting our elastics into a container like this from Bunnings. By the time i added up my elastics, container, parting comb and topsy-tail tools it came to much more than this set. This is available in rainbow colours or clear and black and has everything you need to get started on some cute hair styles.

Clear elastics

Great for any hair colour!

Slick brush set

How do i get her hair so slick and neat? A slick brush set of-course. This is a must have for sure!

Tospy-Tail tools

I will make a reel showing you how these work as they’re so easy and make the cutest hairstyles!

Easy Elastic removers

Save your sanity and avoid discomfort for your little one by getting some elastic removers like these.

Detangling hair brush

To get the tangles out before starting we use this brush and it’s been a game changer. It is SUPER gentle but gets the job done with ease! Use code ITS_MANDAGRAM for a discount.

Wax stick

This is how i create a beautiful slick pony.

Finishing stick

Hold all those flyaways in place all day long with this!

Hair and body glitter

Maisie’s favourite part! This is the one we have, it comes in many colours and brushes or washes out super easily!

Donut buns

These come in a range of hair colours and make neat ballet buns a breeze!

Mini claw clips

I love these ones as they come in little boxes which makes keeping them organised easy!

Gold and silver butterflies

These ones are stunning too!

Pearl flowers

A beautiful addition for a special occasion.

Go to 1 min style

These are our go-to one minute clips as we race out the door in time for work/daycare. They hold a little girls ponytail up all day long.

Butterflies

I’ve just ordered some of these too. How cute!

Detangler

This is ideal for thin, fine and straight hair. It is very light and won’t weigh it down. For curly, thick or dry hair i recommend the no nasties one below.

No Nasties products

No nasties is an Aussie company specialising in hair-care and play makeup products for children which contain no hormone disrupting chemicals. We love the hair gel and use the hair and body wash on days we’re not in the pool. I recommend this detangler over the Palmolive one if your child has thick or curly hair as it is a bit more powerful. The wax would be amazing for little boys with short hair cuts too! Use code ITS_MANDAGRAM for a discount.

Swim shampoo

Once a week we do swimming lessons and we religiously use this shampoo afterwards to keep it chlorine free. Having thin blonde hair it is prone to snapping or going green with too much chlorine. This shampoo has helped a lot! Plus it smells amazing!

Glitter spray

Maisie always put this stuff on her hair when she’s going to birthday parties. It makes her feel extra special!

Golden claws

Maisie and i share this set and both love it.

Dont forget a bow!

Amazon has a huge range of bows. Our favourite are piggie tail bows, velvet bows, lace bows and cheer bows!
