About my ‘Best Buy’ guides
Hi lovely mum village!
After countless messages on the gram begging me to make a gift guide, i’ve decided to go for it! The kids are in bed and i’m going to try my best to smash it out just for you.
I will separate it into 4 age-based sections; however, please take the time look through each of the pages as many of the toys are open ended and thus can be used throughout childhood. If you have a 3 year old for example, have a look through the baby, toddler and preschool sections for ideas! If you have a baby under 1, just stick to the baby section for now and come back and checkout the toddler section when you’re ready for some first birthday gift ideas!
What makes this gift guide different?
At various times throughout the year, you will see lots of “influencers” release gift guides that look a lot fancier than this one. While these will no doubt have some awesome inspo inside, the brands usually are paying for their place in the guide and the creator is profiting on your shopping. I have nothing against this at all, it actually sounds pretty awesome! However, to set myself apart i have decided to only include items in this guide that we personally own and love; most of which fall into a very affordable price point and do not have big brand labels. While some toys have equitable affordable options, you do get what you pay for when it comes to certain things. Hopefully my guide will help you to spend your money where it matters and get the most bang for your buck! Brands have not asked or paid to be included.
